Hahaha. I guess this other is the official.

The Russian squad for the match against Uruguay.

Re: Nations Cup 2019
The amount of stupid penalties by Russia keeps letting them down. From pressuring Uruguay in their 22 to gifting a lineout on their own that ends up in a try.
Re: Nations Cup 2019
HT 29-12 Uruguay. Hosts are more skillful and composed, particularly in the backs. That second try of theirs, when they broke out from a tap penalty, was a gem. Obviously a rehearsed move because the support was right there. Russia have certainly been a bit naïve with their tactics. It's going to be a long second half for the Bears . . .

Re: Nations Cup 2019
Oh. It was that Frank Murphy.
Clearly first game of year, clearly second string pack, clearly, well, you know...
No shame as first brick for 2019...
Gadzhiev looks pro-league signable each game, best player on the pitch by a mile
(*unless you play schoolboy rugby and think giving it to the fat #3 in midfield is a bona fide tactic. I want to think Uruguay are a dangerous banana skin in their group, but what was that 1987 tactic that didn't work once against RUSSIA?!)

Agreed.
Re: Nations Cup 2019
Congrats Uruguay!!! Great performance!
But I have question for Russian supporters: what was that? Are you sure that Lyn Jones is not a foreign spy with a mission to destroy your rugby?
Get rid of him ASAP. Pervukhin compared to him looks like Eddie Jones!

Re: Nations Cup 2019
Er, right.
But whatever point you're trying to make about Russian rugby ignoring our season, our specifics, and who the referee was...
What point of reference you wanted was KINGSLEY Jones.
Thanks for the erudite contribution nonetheless.
If Lyn isn't aware of your view already, I'll make sure he is in the morning, thanks.

Re: Nations Cup 2019
Two years ago we had the same rivals. We can compare the teams Pervuhin and Jones.

Genuine question, what pay or career prospects do these tournaments have?
Because I know Frank Murphy is now an illustrator so can work while at these tournaments, do better referees not see anything in it so won't give up work, whereas he is happy to do it for the travel? I know that's crap but I do wonder how these games are viewed sometimes.
